I use and have been trained in evidence-based therapies such as, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on both thoughts and behaviors. I am trained in solution-focused therapy which is future-focused, goal-directed, and focuses on solutions. I have training in Community Resiliency Model (CRM) which has strategies for helping you to reduce your own stress as well as stressed out or upset children. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR therapy includes a set of standardized protocols that incorporate elements from many different treatment approaches.
I focus on helping individuals through goal-oriented therapy that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving and helps individuals become aware of their inner strengths.
